Sidecut Technology was started, and is based, on the theory that the management of information technology is the same as getting legal or accounting advice, and other bodies of knowledge, in that it is not inherently a do-it-yourself option. People who aren't computer specialists need to find quality vendors of reliable hardware, software, service, and support. Sidecut Technology seeks to fulfil these needs and become a leader in business information technology in Australia.

Sidecut Technology provides both computer products and services to make them useful to the small office and home office. We are especially focused on providing network systems and services to small and medium business. The systems include both PC-based networked systems and server-based systems. Our services include design and installation of network systems, training, service and support.

Sidecut Technology was founded as a consultant oriented value added reseller, and is emphasising service and support to differentiate itself from price oriented competitors.

Sidecut Technology currently has two locations, which incorporates a sales office and service department. Sidecut Technology is a privately owned company by its founder, Edward Jeffries. Our main divisions are Computer sales, support and service. The only way Sidecut Technology can differentiate well from other company’s is to define the vision of the company to be an information technology ally to our clients. We may not be able to compete in any effective way with the IT Chains using boxes or products as appliances. We offer a real alliance that includes such intangibles as confidence, reliability, and knowing that somebody will be there to answer questions and to help. Our support services, with which we hope to capture market share will include Training, upgrades, installation services, network configuration services, etc. The company will seek to continually pursue new opportunities.
